Product Description

DRL – The 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado came factory equipped with dull yellow incandescent daytime running light (DRL) bulbs so whenever your vehicle is in drive and it's not dark enough for the headlamps to be on, those are what run. Thankfully our friends at LumaWerx™ came up with a couple of plug and play solutions to easily replace the bulbs with LED lighting technology to not only brighten up the DRL but they look good too!

CREE – The brand you know and trust. Strategically designed and placed, genuine U.S. made high power CREE LED chips allow the LW30 bulbs to provide plenty of light for those looking to replace their stock incandescent daytime running lamps. Increase light output while creating the unique look that LED lighting technology offers on your vehicle.

SMD – The 5050 SMD LED chip is offered in a variety of colors and shades of white; With over 100,000 bulbs sold since release in 2015, you are sure to improve the look of your rig with SMD style LED bulbs. While an SMD style bulb will not produce the amount of light output found in a genuine CREE LED chip, you have more options for colors and shades to choose from.

Color – Bulbs are offered in various shades of white as well as colors. A pure white can be identified as white without any color, no yellows or blue hue to it, similar to a 5000k HID kit. A cool white has a hint of blue, similar to a 6000k HID kit, mainly white with a slight hue of blue.  A warm white is classified more in the 4300k range giving you the most amount of light output with a white/yellow mix.

4114 Spec – A 4114 bulb looks a lot like a 3157, in fact, you can put a 4114 in a 3156 or 3157 socket but you cannot use a 3156/3157 in a 4114 socket. A 4114 or 4114K bulb is used as a high voltage option in daytime running light applications in many GM vehicles due to the increased voltage spike of their factory alternators causing most generic LED bulbs to only last a few months. These bulbs are guaranteed to work with the high voltage output caused by factory GM alternators.

Installation – Complete plug-and-play installation allows you to simply remove your stock bulb and plug in the high output LED bulb for a crisp, pure white light output. Zero cutting or splicing required. No additional resistors, relays or modules necessary. Installation can be completed in less than 10 minutes with basic hand tools.
