Simone Missick (née Cook; born January 19, 1982) is an American moving-picture show and tv set actress. She is best known for her role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe every bit Detective Misty Knight in Luke Cage, a office she too plays in The Defenders and Fe Fist. Since 2019, she starred equally Lola Carmichael in All Ascension.
Early life [edit]
Simone Missick graduated from Renaissance Loftier School in Detroit, Michigan, in 1999 and completed her studies at Howard University in 2003.[three]
Career [edit]
Missick took master classes at British American Drama Academy in England. At that place she studied nether Ben Kingsley, Alan Rickman, and Jane Lapotaire.[four]
In 2008, Missick was featured in female leading role of Reese Knight in the independent feature The Road to Sundance.
In 2012, Missick played the office of Elise in the boob tube film A Taste of Romance.[ citation needed ]
In 2014, Missick appeared in the series Ray Donovan equally Porschla.[5]
In 2016, Missick had her breakout role on Luke Cage [6] equally Misty Knight. Missick reprised the role in The Defenders [7] and in the second season of Iron Fist.[8]
In February 2019, information technology was appear that Missick was cast in the main part of Trepp for the second flavor of the Netflix science-fiction series Altered Carbon.[nine]
In May 2019, it was announced that Missick was cast in a lead role as Judge Lola Carmichael, a Los Angeles County Superior Court guess for the CBS drama series All Rise.[ten] [11]

Missick married actor Dorian Missick in February 2012.[12] He starred alongside her in the second flavour of Luke Muzzle equally Dontrell "Cockroach" Hamilton.
